My name is Robert Josephy Benno, I was born in Lindi region at Nanyamba district, Mtimbilimbi village, 35 years ago. I am a married man having three children, my first child is 10 years old, the second is 7 years old and the last is one year old now.

The historical background of my disease started 10 years ago, where I was small wounded in my head and felt normal believing it was just a wound thus I continued with my daily farming activities.

As days goes on, the sore got bigger and later my close people took me to the hospital. When I went to the hospital after testing the results, I was told that I have skin cancer so I have to travel to Dar es Salaam to get cancer treatment at the ocean road hospital.

I had no money to travel to Dar es salaam so i stayed at home first, seeking for money that would enable me to travel to Dar es Salaam, my relatives and friends had to contribute to me so that I could travel to Dar es Salaam to get treatment. I managed to travel to Dar es Salaam, I arrived in Dar es Salaam and went to the hospital I could not get treatment because the amount was so huge , I met madam TUNU MIGELO who helped me to connect to various people who would help me get treatment at ocean road hospital

I stayed in the hospital for 8 months and later I got permission to return home, but I was not fully recovered because of the delayed funds so I had to return home.

I am not doing well at the moment, I need help so that I can go back to the hospital, I am in a lot of pain, the wound continues to rot, I have been lying on bed all day , the situation in my house is getting worse, there is no food, there are little kids who need me as a father to find food for them and now I can't even get up to go look for food.

I am kindly asking for help because I need to go back to the hospital to fully get treatment and recover my health. I Am also asking help for my family to sustain the basic requirements.
